Description
Miscellaneous legal and business documents of wealthy Boston merchant Alanson Tucker (1777-1863) who moved to Old Londonderry around 1812 and became a leading citizen of the new town of Derry, whose splitting off from Londonderry he helped engineer in 1827. Manuscripts include accounts respecting the construction of his house on Lane Road; legal and property documents including bonds, copies of deeds, executor papers and wills, mortgages; other items are receipts, letters, and photographic prints.
